Dog toys with a piece-of-flesh. The camera
focuses on the act of ingestion which is
played out in slow motion. The camera moves
extremely close to the dog and meat, it
just sits there and watches with fascination,
the “animality” of the act.
The experience (of watching) is heightened
by accompanying sound: the underlying low
growl is layered with an orchestration of
sounds picked from surrounding as these
move towards a crescendo, it becomes increasingly
puzzling to tell whether it is flesh being
ingested by dong of dogs entrails forcing
their way out. Dog cannot seed to get rid
of met! The accompanying sequence of a boy
plucking feathers off a chicken in a hypnotic
manner, lands a layer of eeriness to the
seamless spectacle.
