Fernando Palomar (1967)

This artist's work relies on extremely simple and graphic means to achieve maximum effect. His minimalist landscapes, sculptures and videos can convey rapid movement, depth of field or monumentality through insignificant gestures, the result lying almost always somewhere between the tragic and the humorous.

Born in Guadalajara. He studied architecture at the Institute de Estudios Superiores de Occidente. From 1991 he started showing his work. He has presented exhibitions at the Museo de las Artes in Guadalajara, at the 407 Gallery in New York and at Museo Carrillo Gil in Mexico City.
