Wang Jian Wei

Wang Jian Wei was born in Sichuan Province in 1958 and began making video art in 1996. He believes that his primary social function is to define the communal self, which includes redefining the community in times when rapid social and physical changes are sweeping the country. Wang Jian Wei lives and works in Beijing.
